Executive Assistant to the President (Executive 2)
Job Description
Under limited supervision, this position will provide executive support to the President and the senior leadership team, including scheduling and calendar management, project management and tracking, maintaining accurate documentation of policies and procedures, presentation preparation, and coordinating stakeholder communications. This position works closely with the President on various public affairs, administrative and executive matters, high-priority projects, and initiatives. It will organize, coordinate, and translate initiatives and plans into action. The incumbent assists the President in balancing internal responsibilities with the external demands for the President's participation, including public relations.
Salary Range:
$26.12-36.23/hr, $54,539-75,648 annually
Minimum Qualifications
- Two (2) years of executive administrative experience. A Bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience; an Associate's degree may substitute for six months of experience. The degree must be in Office Administration, Communications, Business, Education, or a related field.
- Experience authoring presentations, briefings, or reports.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office 365, Publisher, DocuSign, Adobe Sign, and PowerPoint).
- Previous experience with executive-level calendar management.
- Ability to communicate in a variety of formats to gather and relay information with tact and diplomacy.
- Knowledge of budget principles sufficient to manage budgets and forecast expenses.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and resolve complex issues.
- Highly detailed, accurate, excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative working relationships in a diverse environment.
- Ability to travel and work in multiple locations as required by the position.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Education, or a field related to the assignment.
- Two (2) or more years of project management experience utilizing the following skill sets: organizational planning, data metrics, relationship building, and communication.
- Previous work experience in higher education.
- At least two (2) years of experience in executive-level customer service .
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
- Extensive knowledge of CLC staff, programs, policies, services, and procedures to answer and refer questions expertly.
- Ability to calm angry, hostile, or confused customers and assist in resolving their situations.
- Ability to accomplish desired results most effectively, pleasantly, and efficiently while adhering to proper policies and procedures.
