As UOW undertakes a significant transformation to ensure responsiveness and sustainability in a dynamic higher education landscape, we are seeking an outstanding and inspirational academic leader to join us as our next Executive Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Society & Business. As part of the Vice-Chancellor’s senior executive team and reporting to the Provost, the Executive Dean will provide strategic and operational leadership, to shape the development of this big Faculty and ensure its programs and lead initiatives to deliver transformational change in education and student experience across UOW.

You will be an inspiring and inclusive leader, with an international reputation in research / scholarship in your academic field, and a deep understanding of the dynamic global Higher Education landscape, as well as the ability to facilitate meaningful and impactful collaboration with key industry and government partners. You will have the experience to lead change and empower teams across our academic units and schools in the Faculty and a strong commitment to working in partnership with our students in pursuit of our ambition to be recognised globally for excellence in education, student experience and graduate outcomes. The successful candidate will bring strong personal commitment to the disciplines of the Faculty and experience in multi-disciplinary collaboration with the breadth of perspective necessary to lead across a broad academic group.
