Reporting dually to the Chancellor and Provost, the Executive Director will build and lead the Academy as a visible, influential, and financially sustainable institution. Responsibilities include setting strategic direction, leading fundraising toward a $75–100M endowment goal, overseeing programs and operations, engaging national partners and donors, and serving as the Academy’s primary public representative. The role will oversee and work closely with a distinguished Academic Director, from the University’s faculty, who will provide academic leadership and guide scholarly engagement.

The ideal candidate brings senior leadership experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, a deep commitment to free expression and pluralism, and a strong record of fundraising, partnership-building, and public engagement. Compensation: $225,000–$375,000, commensurate with experience
