Executive Director of University Advancement Communications

Florida State University is seeking an Executive Director of University Advancement Communications. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of University Advancement, this role will strategically plan and lead all Division of University Advancement communication and branding efforts that advance the mission and priorities of Florida State University.

The Executive Director will conceptualize, design, and execute an innovative, comprehensive communications strategy in support of the university's next comprehensive campaign. They will lead and manage a dynamic team of communications professionals that handle day-to-day advancement communications, including comprehensive campaign communications.

This position involves working closely with key partners in alumni engagement, donor relations, annual giving, gift planning, and fundraising staff across colleges, schools, and units to align communication policies and practices. The Executive Director will provide guidance and creative influence over the Division of University Advancement website and other digital and print pieces involving the division's most important priorities.

Qualifications require a bachelor's degree and six years of relevant experience, or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to ten years.
