EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY GLOBAL CAMPUS
Tuskegee University (TU) invites nominations and applications for the inaugural Executive Director, Tuskegee University Global Campus.
TU seeks an executive leader to serve the Institution in the launch of the Tuskegee University Global Campus (TUGC). Reporting to the Provost, this individual will establish and operationalize an integrated online learning infrastructure that unifies and elevates current offerings into a high-quality, scalable, and sustainable online ecosystem. The Executive Director will drive business planning, platform build-out and launch, faculty engagement, and institutional change management to position TUGC as an international model of online education that supports workforce needs and advances the University’s vision of expanding access to quality education.
The Executive Director will guide the development of delivery platforms, new programs, support the growth of existing offerings, and direct faculty and staff engagement to ensure excellence in online teaching and learning. This role represents a transformational leadership opportunity to design systems, foster innovative academic pathways, and position TU as a leader in accessible, mission-driven online education.
Founded in 1881, Tuskegee University is a National Historic Landmark and premier HBCU, serving over 3,000 students and employing more than 800 faculty and staff. TU is widely celebrated for its tradition of academic excellence and legacy of service. U.S. News & World Report ranks Tuskegee #1 in the South for social mobility and #4 overall among all HBCUs. The university leads the nation in producing African American aerospace science engineers, Ph.D. graduates in materials science and engineering, and military general officers.
TU seeks an experienced administrator with a proven record of building scalable programs, specifically in the online education space, and leading organizational transformation and excellence. A master’s degree in an appropriate field is required, and a minimum of 7-10 years of leadership experience in online or distance education is desired.
This is a full-time executive leadership role in Tuskegee, Alabama. Hybrid and/or remote work will be considered. The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
