Facilities Manager
Miles Community College is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee campus operations, maintenance, and facilities planning. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise facilities staff, creating schedules and ensuring accountability.
- Manage the Physical Plant budget and assist in implementing the Facilities Master Plan.
- Oversee maintenance, inspections, work orders, and campus safety.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, inventory, and motor pool operations.
- Ensure compliance with state, OSHA, and college standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field). Associate degree with extensive relevant experience considered.
- Minimum 3 years of facilities/building management experience, including supervision.
- Must obtain Montana State Boiler Operator License within one year and hold or be eligible for a Montana CDL.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, stairs, and scaffolding. Strong interpersonal skills required.
