Supervise teacher candidates in pre-practicum and/or practicum field experiences Develop and maintain partnerships with local schools and districts to support practicum experiences and collaborative initiatives Participate in program development, accreditation processes
Required Qualifications: - Earned doctoral degree in Special Education or a closely related field (conferred by August 1, 2027)
- Professional experience as a Special Education teacher
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive instructional practices in educational settings and culturally responsive practices
- A scholarly agenda
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Evidence-based instructional practices, materials, and methods for teaching students with moderate disabilities
- Literacy instruction for students with disabilities
- Diagnostic and educational assessment for students with disabilities
- Development, interpretation, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Autism spectrum disorder, including school-based and home-based interventions, collaboration with families, and advocacy for students with autism
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience teaching in higher education
- Experience with online asynchronous or hybrid instruction and learning management systems, such as Canvas
- Strong organizational and written and communication skills

Working Location This is an onsite position in Salem, MA with on-campus, in-person responsibilities.
