This new role is central to our employability strategy, working with the Associate Dean Student Success, Faculty Employability Lead Tutor, academic teams, and the University’s Employability & Apprenticeships Directorate to embed employability into the student experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a new credit-bearing first-year module focused on placement preparation, confidence building, and workplace readiness.
- Providing targeted employability coaching for students applying for placements and graduate roles, especially in programmes like BA Business Management and BA Accounting and Finance.
- Designing and delivering employability workshops (in-person and online) covering applications, assessment centres, interviews, commercial awareness, and digital presence.
- Collaborating with programme teams to tailor employability learning to specific disciplines and career paths.

About you:
You’ll have experience supporting students in higher education or similar settings, with knowledge of the graduate labour market.
