To recruit a faculty member to strengthen teaching and research in the designated field.
Work content and job description
Subjects to be Taught:
Courses taught in English, Junior Seminar, Senior Thesis Seminar, Japanese Culture in English, English Communication I and II, and other English language skills courses (subject to change depending on the appointee's academic rank).
Job Description:
Four-day workweek. The remaining day will be designated as a research day.
The University will determine the courses, teaching schedule, and class periods assigned to the appointee.
Duties include attendance at university events, Open Campus, entrance examination-related work (including preparation of examination questions), outreach lectures, and other university responsibilities that may be required outside the designated four-day workweek.
For appointees holding a tenured position, the following additional duties apply:
- Participation in faculty/department meetings and university committees
- Visits to partner schools for teaching practice supervision
- Examination proctoring (including end-of-semester examinations, TOEFL, and other examinations)
- Chaperoning overseas study programs
- Attendance at parent consultation meetings
- Participation in entrance examination interviews
