Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
In this varied and fast-paced role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across the faculty office with a primary focus on the academic services and processes. Working as part of a team, you will manage enquiries, support academic and student processes, coordinate meetings and events, and maintain accurate records and reporting. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support Faculty leaders with a wide range of administrative tasks, helping to ensure an organised, responsive, and high-performing Faculty Office.

You are a proactive and personable administrator who thrives in a front-facing role and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment. You will be able to demonstrate your experience through:
- At least four years’ experience in an administrative role preferably in a large organisation.
- Experience providing front-line, customer-focused service
- A proven ability to manage competing priorities and high-volume workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in process improvement
- Strong experience coordinating processes, meetings, or events
- Experience using office systems, databases, and reporting tools (e.g. Excel)
- A proven ability to maintain accurate records with a high level of attention to detail
- Experience in, or understanding of, NZ Tertiary Education system is desirable

You will work closely with the Faculty Office team, academic staff, and Faculty leaders, supporting a wide range of administrative activities. Engaging regularly with students, academic staff, visitors, and internal service teams, building strong working relationships across the University.
