Faculty Openings in the Accountancy Programme
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is Singapore’s first University of Applied Learning, offering industry-relevant degree programmes that prepare its graduates to be work- and future-ready professionals.
As a young university, we encourage innovation and seek the right candidates to join us in realising our vision. We offer competitive remuneration, generous employment benefits, access to funding to undertake research of relevance to industry, and opportunities to inspire and nurture the next generation of skilled and work-ready graduates.
The Business, Communication and Design (BCD) Cluster is one of five academic clusters at SIT. It offers seven degree programmes, including Accountancy.
The Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Accountancy is accredited by several leading global accountancy professional bodies. Successful candidates will join the BCD Cluster as part of a faculty team comprising accomplished experts who are passionate about higher education and actively engaged in driving industry transformation through applied research.
Faculty members may undertake funded, industry-relevant research and are expected to teach courses within the Accountancy Programme. They may also supervise industry-based master's and doctoral students on relevant topics.
We prioritise collegial and team-spirited candidates who possess either: (a) a PhD or equivalent from a reputable university with a specialisation in Accountancy-related domains and relevant industry experience; or (b) extensive industry experience with demonstrated technical expertise.
