Faculty Position in Computer Science at VinUniversity
The College of Engineering and Computer Science at VinUniversity is recruiting faculty members in Computer Science, with special interest in areas such as Software Engineering, Computer Systems, Medical Computer Vision, Data-mining and Databases, and Tele- and precision medicine. This is a Research track position for ranks of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor.
Position Responsibilities: Faculty members are responsible for teaching (developing and instructing classes, providing academic advising, and participating in program and curriculum development to meet ABET standards), research (supervising student research, performing original research, and publishing in top venues), and service (assisting with recruitment, admission, and service to the university, profession, and community). Workload is based on faculty ranking and international standards.
Key Selection Criteria: Candidates must hold a doctorate from prestigious universities, have strong subject knowledge and a broad background for teaching, experience with experiential learning methods like TBL, PBL, and ABL, a strong research record or potential, a passion for education, agility in embracing changes, and excellent English communication skills.
Compensation: Salaries are internationally competitive and based on qualifications and experience.
