Faculty Position in Learning Science

Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate/Senior Associate/Full Professor in Learning Science at the Learning Institute for Future Excellence (LIFE) within the Academy of Future Education.

About Academy of Future Education (AOFE): AOFE is an innovation ecosystem dedicated to research and dissemination of future education practices. It includes units like the Department of Educational Studies and LIFE, supporting programs in lifelong learning, digital literacy, and sustainability education.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership on student learning enhancement.
• Design and deliver teaching projects on lifelong learning.
• Advise on program development and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Supervise PhD and Master's students.
• Conduct research in lifelong learning education.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in learning enhancement or related fields.
• Experience in leading student learning enhancement in higher education.
• Strong research background and teaching experience.
• Passion for student guidance on lifelong learning.
• Workload: 40% teaching, 40% practice/research, 20% service.

Citizenship and Visa Regulations: Must comply with Chinese labor laws; candidates over 65 may not be eligible.
