Project Title: Design and Development of Portable VIS-NIR Spectrometer for Detection of Pesticide Content in Fruits and Vegetables Products

Essential Qualifications:

• JRF: Post graduation in Sciences (Physics or optics)/ Graduation or post graduation in Engineering qualified with GATE/NET/JRF/National level examination/Own fellowship.
• PA-II: (i) Master degree in Natural Science/Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor degree in Sciences/Engineering/Technology from a recognized university. (ii) 2 years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institution or Science & Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.

Job Location: New Delhi

Emoluments:

• JRF: Rs. 37000/- + 27% HRA
• PA: Rs. 28000/- + HRA (as per Govt. norms)

Duration: Appointment will be for 1 year with a provision of extension depending upon the performance of the candidate. However, the JRF applicants are encouraged to register for Ph.D. In such cases, the appointment will be awarded for 3 years.
