Faculty Services and Facilities Assistant (Student) (FWS)
Summary
This position is based in the SIS Hub Office. Our office provides administrative support for the faculty and staff within the School of International Service.
Essential Functions
- Serve as first point of contact for faculty, staff, student, and external group inquiries via email and phone.
- Coordinate and facilitate setup logistics for events in SIS Founders, Atrium, and SIS 300.
- Report maintenance requests to 2Fix.
- Assist with faculty office moves.
- Track supply inventory via weekly checklist.
- Provide general administrative support (copying, faxing, scanning, mail distribution, etc.).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Part-time.
- 10 hours per week.
Salary Range
$18.40 - $18.50 per hour.
Required Education and Experience
- Must have a Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in multicultural environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Customer Service focus is essential.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience using Lotus Notes.
- Previous experience working in an AU campus office.
