Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
Assist the Athletics Department with the setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of athletic facilities and events. Support game-day operations, facility readiness, and administrative tasks to ensure a positive experience for student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.
Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities
- Assist with opening and closing athletic facilities.
- Assist with pre-event setup, including tables, chairs, signage, barricades, tents, and hospitality areas.
- Help manage spectator areas and maintain a professional event environment.
- Assist with post-event cleanup and facility restoration.
- Support the scoreboard, statistics, or other operational duties as assigned.
- Ensure facilities are clean, organized, and game-ready.
- Assist with inventory and storage of athletic equipment and supplies.
- Report facility maintenance and safety concerns to supervisors.
- Help move and transport equipment between venues as needed.
- Support timing crews, officials, and event staff during competitions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current Albany State student enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for special events.
