Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to support Financial Aid Services through customer service support and financial aid processing activities. The Financial Aid and Enrollment Management Assistant plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment with the expectation of continuous improvement and first-class customer service. This position participates in divisional activities as a member of the Enrollment Management Services Division. Collaborative and team-oriented skills with a strong commitment to student success are essential attributes for the individual in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial aid events such as FAFSA sessions, Preview Days and Orientation.
  • Serve as backup as needed for Financial Aid customer service team.
  • Assist the VP of EMS with the development of FA calendars, in preparation for the transition of a new director.
  • Assist with the implementation of the GGC FAFSA center for 2026.
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Customer Service and Director of New Student Connections in the collaborative efforts with Gwinnett County Public School System.
  • Assist with processing summer aid review requests.

Required Qualifications

4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
2-3 years of related experience

Proposed Salary

25-30/hr

Salary offer will be dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines.
