Fire Door Installer and Inspector
The Role
Your primary focus will be ensuring the University's fire doors remain safe, compliant and fully operational. You will carry out inspections, adjustments, repairs, upgrades and installations, helping to protect thousands of students, staff and visitors every year.
In addition, you will undertake a wide variety of carpentry and joinery works including:
- Installation and repair of doors, frames and ironmongery.
- Building fabric repairs and maintenance.
- Bespoke joinery and refurbishment works.
- Repairs to furniture, fixtures and fittings.
- Planned maintenance projects.
- Reactive maintenance and fault rectification.
- Support for capital improvement and refurbishment programmes.
