Position Title: Forensic Anthropology Grant Assistant

Advertised Pay: $15.02/hr

Position Summary: University Upper Division Anthropology coursework, including laboratory methods in forensic anthropology, bioarcheology, or similarly titled course and practical experience with the parameters included in the MOSAIC: Unifying Methods of Sex, Stature, Affinity, & Age for Identification through Computational Standardization research project, specifically morphological and metric methods for biological profile estimation in forensic anthropology. The work schedule for this temporary role is flexible and will be determined in coordination with the supervisor. The yearly maximum is 999 hours. This temporary position is funded in full or in part by a grant award.

Essential Functions:
- Assist co-PI on grant-related activities including administrative responsibilities, clerical work, data cleaning, and manuscript assistance.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft and Airtable.
- Undergraduate course in statistics.
- Relevant university coursework in forensic anthropology, including laboratory methods in forensic anthropology (or similarly titled course) and practical experience with the parameters included in the MOSAIC: Unifying Methods of Sex, Stature, Affinity, & Age for Identification through Computational Standardization research project, specifically morphological and metric methods for biological profile estimation in forensic anthropology.
- Proven effective organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Data analysis and filing experience.
- Effective time management skills.
