FT Support - HR Data Entry & Office Support
Job Summary:
As a key support to the Human Resources team as well as the diverse and multi-cultural LCC community, this position serves as the front-line support for the Human Resources department, including answering phones, greeting guests, and general office support duties. This position maintains employee data entry in the College’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by compiling all electric/paper submissions to complete data entry in a high-volume, fast paced environment. The incumbent in this position will possess organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in completing day-to-day tasks. The individual in this position must demonstrate a commitment to the diversity of a multi-cultural population and work effectively in a team-based environment Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community. LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan. Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Demonstrated customer service experience. Demonstrated clerical support experience. Demonstrated experience in data entry systems in a large organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Human Resources and/or Payroll experience. Minimum of 3 years’ customer service experience. Minimum of 1 year experience collaborating with other departments to complete tasks.
