Full-Time Lecturer Position – ITOM - Adnan Kassar School of Business (AKSOB)

The ITOM Department at the Adnan Kassar School of Business (AKSOB) at the Lebanese American University (LAU) invites applications for a Full-Time Lecturer position in Artificial Intelligence Strategy, Digital Transformation Management, and Technology Management & strategy, to teach at the Beirut campus (with possible assignments at the Byblos campus).

Role Summary

The successful candidate will contribute to AKSOB’s growing portfolio in digital innovation and strategic management by teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses focused on the intersection of technology and information systems, business strategy, and leadership. The appointee is expected to bring both academic expertise and industry experience to equip students with future-ready skills in data-driven decision-making, digital leadership, and the ethical management of emerging technologies.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in areas such as Artificial Intelligence for Business, Digital Transformation Management, Technology Strategy, or Innovation Management
• Design and deliver experiential learning projects that integrate digital tools, case studies, and applied analytics
• Contribute to curriculum development in the fields of technology-enabled strategy, digital business models, and sustainable innovation
• Mentor students on projects and initiatives involving AI adoption, data ethics, and organizational digital readiness
• Engage with industry partners to bridge academia and practice through guest lectures, collaborative projects, and applied research
• Support AKSOB’s mission in advancing digital literacy and innovation across disciplines
• Perform other academic and instructional duties pertinent to the position as assigned

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Digital Transformation, Technology Management, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Demonstrated university teaching experience in technology-related business courses
• Proven professional or academic record in AI strategy, digital transformation, innovation leadership, or IT in Entrepreneurship
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom facilitation skills.
• Commitment to academic excellence, student engagement, and continuous learning in the evolving digital landscape

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI applications, data analytics, or digital platforms in business contexts
• Background in executive education, consulting, or corporate leadership in technology-driven environments
• Familiarity with ethical, strategic, and governance aspects of AI and digital transformation
• Active involvement in professional networks, conferences, or research initiatives related to digital innovation
