The PhD programme at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City St George’s, University of London is offering 15 PhD studentships comprising full tuition fees and maintenance grant of £22,780 pa for four years, starting in October 2026. Studentships also offer funding for attendance at selected conferences.
This year, we are also offering an OFGEM-funded PhD scholarship at the interface of consumer behaviour and energy markets. The successful candidate will probably be supervised jointly by Professor Mukhopadhyay and Professor Estes and will be expected to spend approximately 10 hours per week working with the sponsor.

Studentships will be allocated by a panel of senior academics on the basis of outstanding academic achievement and research potential.

Funding
Studentship funding for UK students, EU students and international students, including:
- Full tuition fee waiver
- Stipend: £22,780 per annum (rising in line with UKRI stipends) for full-time study over four years
