Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

Want to inspire the next generation of university graduates? Enjoy meeting people from all walks of life? Want to join a high-performing and collaborative team?

Based in Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland with one other team member, you will work within the wider Future Students team to educate future students about the amazing world-class learning opportunities at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury. You will develop an effective student recruitment plan for key markets, schools and regions and put your excellent sales, presentation and coaching skills to good use in order to create a connection with a diverse range of students, that inspires and encourages them to choose UC.

You'll enjoy exploring Aotearoa as some domestic travel will be required in order for you to build effective relationships with schools, kura, stakeholders, students and their caregivers across the country through presentations, face-to-face meetings and events - the Koru membership is on us!

Mōu | Who You Are

Naturally, you will have an outgoing personality, with a passion and enthusiasm for working in the Education Sector. Creativity and innovative thinking will come naturally to you, and you will show your ability in sales or account management skills. You will have excellent communication (oral and written) and people skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a range of key stakeholders. You'll be a natural presenter and be confident in standing up in front of a range of audiences and nailing that presentation with professionalism and humour.

Our Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Team are based in a premium shared office and collaborative workspace meaning you'll be working alongside lots of other people from a range of industries. Plus, we will give you a tutorial on how to use the barista coffee machine on site!
