Gender and Sexuality Studies - Part Time Lecturer Pool
POSITION
The Gender and Sexuality Studies and Queer Studies Programs at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool.
We are seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach in the following subject areas.
- Gender & Sexuality Studies 100 - Decoding Desire: Gender and Sexuality in the Humanities
- Gender & Sexuality Studies 105 - Intro to Queer Studies
- Gender & Sexuality Studies 205 - Gender and Globalization
- Gender & Sexuality Studies 302 - Gender and Sexuality Studies
- Gender & Sexuality Studies 320 - Digital Culture, Gender and Sexuality

This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.
APPOINTMENTS FROM THE PART-TIME POOL ARE TEMPORARY AND OFTEN MADE JUST PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ACADEMIC TERM. APPLICANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE ON VERY SHORT NOTICE.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. or ABD status. Applicants with an M.A may also be considered with substantial graduate course work in a related field.
- Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment.
- Preference will also be given to those who demonstrated understanding of Feminist/gender theory, Queer Theory, and Critical Race Theory.
