While the faculty are collectively responsible for vision-setting, choosing shows, defining the pedagogical principles, and vetting potential guest artists, the General Manager handles the day-to-day decisions, communications, budgeting, and troubleshooting required to coordinate all the components of a successful production program. The General Manager position is the communication node linking three groups who each contribute in different ways to the production program: the faculty; the Production Manager and production staff; administrative staff (Department Chair, Department Administrator, Academic Coordinator).
