Graduate Assistant
Graduate Assistant for Student Wellness Education
Part-time, 20 hours/week. Supports the Office of Student Wellness Education through health education programming, student outreach, and wellness promotion efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating wellness programs on topics including alcohol and other drugs, mental well-being, sexual health, nutrition, and sleep.
- Help facilitate workshops, presentations, and outreach events.
- Support the training and mentoring of peer educators or student volunteers.
- Create educational materials, social media content, and promotional campaigns.
- Assist with program evaluation, data collection, and identifying best practices.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a graduate program in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Public Health, Counseling, Social Work, Health Communication, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interest in student health, wellness, belonging, and inclusion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Living on-campus is required. Compensation: $12,000 stipend, on-campus apartment, and $1,500 meal stipend.
