Skills/Qualifications
- Official Master's degree focused on research, preferably biomedical (2 points).
- Work experience in cell and molecular biology techniques. Proven experience in cell line culture, primary cells, transfection, RT-PCR, qPCR, Western blot, immunofluorescence, microscopy, and flow cytometry will be valued (0.5 points per year, up to a maximum of 1 point).
- Demonstrable professional experience in microbiology and infectious disease laboratories (0.5 points for every 6 months, up to a maximum of 1 point).
- Publication of scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals (JCR) (0.5 points per publication, up to a maximum of 1 point).
- 2 professional references (1 point if positive).
- Motivation Letter (1 point).

Specific Requirements
University degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedicine, Medicine, Health Sciences, or related degrees.

Benefits
Hiring modality: Contract for scientific-technical activities (Article 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law 14/2011).
Category: Carlos III - Grade.
Weekly hours: Full-time (35 hours/week).
Gross annual salary: €22,500.
Estimated duration: 12 months, renewable - The contract is linked to the duration of the project/activity/funding.
Selection process
- Based on the points obtained in the merits assessment, at least the top three candidates will be selected for a personal interview where communication skills, work aptitude, and abilities will be evaluated, with a maximum of 3 points.
- After the position is filled, if the selected candidate declines the contract, the hiring committee may choose to proceed with the next candidate on the score list.
