St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Grant Administrator/Specialist position. The Henrietta Schmoll School of Health Sciences (HSSHS) and School of Nursing (SoN) are the recipients of an $18 million Academic Excellence Grant (AEG) and $1 million annual perpetual Legacy Grant from the Gerald and Henrietta Rauenhorst (GHR) Foundation. The AEG grant is focused on improving societal health and well-being by preparing high-quality providers capable of practicing in emerging health-related environments focused on interprofessional collaborative practice, cultural fluency, and ecological approaches to health. The Legacy Grant aims to re-imagine the HSSHS and SoN, create new and scalable clinical models, and increase support for healthcare students. This position exists to provide strategic, operational, and financial support related to the execution and management of GHR grant-funded projects under the direction of the principal investigators and in accordance with St. Catherine University policies, practices, and procedures.Responsibilities Include:
- Providing oversight and management of the AEG and Legacy Grant projects and related activities and sub-grants.
- Administering the application and approval process for subgrants, communicating with grant reviewers and potential applicants, sharing award decisions, assisting awardees with their budgets and budget process, communicating with awardees, monitoring spending and project progress, and collecting and compiling outcomes for each sub-award.
- Executing critical financial, personnel, and academic processes in compliance with university policies and in alignment with federal regulations and grant management best practices.
- Collaborating in the development of budgets and the tools and practices to execute them.
- Working with HR to execute faculty and staff contracts and with Accounts Payable to manage invoices, payment requests, reimbursements, and other financial transactions.
- Serving as an active member of the GHR leadership team and contributing to the strategic decision-making and implementation of all GHR grant-related activities.
- Supporting the leadership team in scheduling meetings, maintaining minutes, and following up on action items. Assist in event coordination, planning, and communication with partners. Support interprofessional faculty research teams through sub-awards in partnership with the GHR Endowed Chair for Health Education and Research.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in project management, program management, customer service, or related work.
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and diverse audiences.
- Experience or willingness to be trained in budget management.
- Ability to complete multiple projects on-time and within budget.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Record of success managing projects or grants with complex budgets.
- Experience managing and implementing large/multi-level projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience communicating with executives and managing external relationships.
- Healthcare and/or higher education experience.
- Two years of professional-level experience in project management, program management, customer service, or related work.
