Grants Coordinator B (Psychiatry)
Job Description Summary
Responsible for the preparation, review, and submission of sponsored program proposals. Provides comprehensive pre- and post-award support, including budget development, financial monitoring, reporting, and subcontract management. Maintains systems, prepares financial reports, and collaborates to ensure compliant and effective grant administration.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and review proposal budgets and assist in other proposal development activities for staff linked with grant/award
- Responsible for adding all pre award information to department database for continuous updates to research support and faculty distribution of research allocations to investigators
- Monitor grant expenditure for compliance and corrective actions as needed. Work very closely with payroll coordinator to insure proper effort allocated
- Maintain and monitor specific groups of faculty and their overall portfolio. Produce and distribute specialized research related financial reports for investigators. Meet monthly to review their funds and total research portfolio
- Provide liaison to research offices across the University
- Assist in the preparation and submission of monthyl/ quarterly/ as required effort reports. Produce distribute specialized related financial reports for investigators. Post award duties include award set up and management for financial and regulatory compliance, meeting regularly with investigators for expense reporting and projects, and processing reports and transactions, including subcontract activity from start to close out.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annual Rate
Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
