"Groom/Stable Workers (full-time and part-time)"

Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia seeks applications for full-time and part-time groom/stable workers to clean stalls, feed and groom horses, and perform general barn duties.

Full-time hours are primarily 5:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. five days/week, including one weekend day, with flexibility for two days off per week. Part-time hours are flexible in the afternoons five days/week; exact times and days are to be determined, but will likely include one weekend day. Full-time employees are eligible for health and life insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, and tuition assistance benefits. Part-time employees are eligible for certain benefits on a pro-rated basis.

Experience working with horses preferred. Must have a valid United States driver’s license with minimal violations. Once the selected candidate accepts a contingent employment offer, a motor vehicle background check will be conducted.
