Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: Grounds Staff in the Grounds Department.

Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in the grounds field.
Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the grounds field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have knowledge of best practices in landscaping and plant care. Must be able to operate equipment used in grounds maintenance. Must have good communication skills.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Performs turf maintenance.
- Installs and maintains landscape beds
- Removes waste and litter.
- Provides exceptional customer service to all constituents, including faculty, staff, students, vendors, visitors and the community using positive communication skills and established protocols.
Building/ Grounds Specialist II (KA10/61122324/ FTE -S01066P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 02. Minimum starting salary is $31,200.00. Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
