Description:
STANFORD UNIVERSITY, Graduate School of Business, invites applications for tenure line faculty positions in accounting, beginning September 1, 2026, from candidates at all levels and stages of their careers who are interested in financial accounting, managerial accounting, tax, and other areas. Candidates should have or expect to complete a PhD by September 1, 2027, and should possess a strong and active research record. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research and to teach both MBA and PhD courses in accounting.

The expected base pay range for this position is:
Assistant Professor: $280,000 - $295,000
Associate Professor: $300,000 - $330,000
Full Professor: $405,000 - $465,000

The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
