GZ Psychologist Child and Youth

Job Summary: The Leids Universitair Behandel en Expertise Centrum (LUBEC) is seeking a GZ Psychologist or Orthopedagoog Generalist for the Child and Youth department for a period of up to 12 months. This role involves providing academic specialized care for children, adolescents, and young adults up to 23 years with issues related to upbringing, development, and daily functioning, while contributing to diagnostics, treatment, innovation, research, education, and supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently handle diagnostics and treatment for youths up to 23 years.
  • Provide work supervision to trainees.
  • Offer supervision to interns.
  • Contribute to management tasks related to care processes at LUBEC.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Registered as a GZ Psychologist or Orthopedagoog Generalist under the BIG Act, with a focus on Child and Youth.
  • Experience in providing work supervision.
  • Professional work attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative, and innovative mindset.
  • Ability to handle the dynamics and complexity of academic work.
  • Commitment to contributing to a safe work environment and good training climate.

What the Employer Offers:

  • A temporary employment contract for 15.2 to 38 hours per week (0.4 FTE to 1.0 FTE) for up to 12 months, under the CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten.
  • Salary range from €4,537 to €6,209 gross per month for a full-time position (scale 11).
  • Vacation allowance (8%), end-of-year bonus (8.3%), and attractive pension scheme with ABP.
  • Flexible working hours with at least 29 vacation days for a full-time week of 38 hours, with options to build extra leave.
