Head of Student Wellbeing - Residential Life
Job Description:
- Develop and deliver programs and workshops to staff and students that support wellbeing.
- Provide counselling and case management support for students in a residential setting.
- Start date planned for early 2026.
- Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months with a possibility of extension.
- Base salary range: $104,243– $115,661 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity
- You will play a key role in fostering a safe, energetic and harmonious living and learning environment for residents.
- Plan, develop and implement resident well-being initiatives, support accessibility pathways, cocurricular programs and pastoral care to all residents from a diverse range of cultural, national, socio-economic and educational backgrounds.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent competency.
- Current registration/eligible for registration with an associated professional organisation such as Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) or Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
- Minimum of two years' experience in the provision of mental health support including suicide crisis and risk assessment and intervention.
- Experience in delivering training/ workshops related to mental health and wellbeing.
Special Requirements
- Some after-hours work may be required.
- Current WA Working With Children Check.
- National Police Clearance Certificate will be conducted.
