Head Womens and Mens Volleyball Coach

Job Description

Sarah Lawrence College, a private, coeducational college located 30 minutes north of midtown Manhattan, is seeking applicants for a Head Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Coach.  This is a full-time, 12-month appointment reporting to the Director of Athletics. Sarah Lawrence is a currently a member of the Skyline Conference and NCAA DIII. 

Essential Duties Summary

Specific areas of responsibility will include student-athlete recruitment, training, conditioning and skill development as well as practice and game preparation for both teams.  Ensuring adherence to the policies of Sarah Lawrence College, the Skyline Conference and the NCAA will be an ongoing essential.  Preference will be given to candidates with coaching and administrative experience at the collegiate level as well as experience recruiting to a private liberal arts college 

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is required. A high level of self-motivation and excellent interpersonal skills are imperative. Resumes will be reviewed as they are received. 

Preferred Qualifications

A master’s degree is preferred.
