Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Health Support Officer to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health.
You responsible for providing assistance to the QUT Health Clinics service teams in the areas of clinical services, business and administration operations. An important part of this role involves working across diverse tasks in a health service and teaching environment to provide operational support to the QUT Health Clinics staff and students. The successful applicant for this role will be responsible for supporting duties required for a number of key areas including community engagement, business support, clinical services, and administration and providing assistance to the manager as required for reports, audits, and events. Working closely with other team members, faculty and school staff, and departments including IT, Finance and Facilities Management. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring service continuity and expertise in the QHC patient management system, CareRight, providing coding, system maintenance and support to QHC staff and students.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of an associate diploma level qualification or higher in conjunction with relevant health related work experience.
- Demonstration of a high level of oral and written communication skills with the ability to draft a range of written material including reports, correspondence, emails and meeting minutes.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated organisational and time management skills to meet QHC strategic objectives and prioritise personal schedules to meet deadlines and maintain QHC operational requirements.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment and contribute actively to team cohesiveness.
- Demonstrated computer literacy including proficiency in providing quality document control, high level use of MS Office Suite and in-depth knowledge and experience with the CareRight patient management system including solving system issues and providing coding for assessment development.
