Hematologist/Oncologist (ZSFG)

The Department of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco is recruiting a Hematologist and Oncologist for the positions of Assistant, Associate or Professor in the Hematology-Oncology Division at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital and Trauma Center. We are currently seeking candidates for a part-time or full-time positions. The selected candidate will be appointed at a rank and series commensurate with their experience and qualifications.
Candidates must have demonstrated clinical skills in managing patients with hematologic disorders and/or solid tumors, excellent teaching skills and/or an interest in conducting clinical and behavioral research. Interest and a published track-record in health care disparities and outcomes research is preferred.
Clinical duties will include rotating on an inpatient consultation service in a safety-net hospital; caring for outpatients in a specialty clinic and managing an e-consult service. Teaching opportunities will involve medical students, residents, Hematology-Oncology fellows and advanced practice providers (APPs).
Candidates should be ABIM-certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology or be board-eligible. Bi-lingual providers are also desirable.

Salary: The minimum base salary range for this position is $131,200-$344,400. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. See Table 5 for posted UC salary scales.
