Working at CQUniversity
We are seeking a committed professional to support students throughout their university journey by delivering accurate and timely financial services across all CQUniversity locations. In this position, you will manage student accounts, process refunds, and provide clear guidance on student fees and government loan programs, including HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP, SA-HELP, OS-HELP, and VET Student Loans. You’ll ensure required forms are submitted, communications are sent promptly, and enrolments are withdrawn where students do not meet eligibility requirements.
You will also maintain student residency records, perform audits to identify and resolve account issues, and prepare reports to meet government and legislative obligations, demonstrating a strong attention to detail. Using your knowledge of university systems, you will support compliance, data integrity, and a positive student experience. Working collaboratively within the Students Directorate, you will help the team achieve its objectives and deliver consistent, professional outcomes for students and stakeholders across the University.

Position Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with proven organisational and teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Sound understanding of government loan programs, including Commonwealth supported places, HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP, SA-HELP, OS-HELP and VET Student Loans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases, web technologies and large corporate information systems.
- A relevant degree, an associate diploma with at least two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
