House Manager
Assists Patron Services and Volunteer Supervisor in all aspects of managing events, including administrative and operational tasks related to events and front of house operations for programs held in the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts and Lorenzo Cultural Center or programmed by Macomb Community College at offsite locations.
- Provide customer service and support to general public and clients
- Respond to and resolve complaints
- Explain and enforce policies and procedures
- Schedule, train and supervise volunteer staff
- Enforce college health, safety, fire and departmental regulations
- Open and close the facility as needed
- Assist with event needs, including setting up and strike of tables and chairs
- Maintain and provide proper security for equipment
- Report observations relating to incidents or building maintenance and repair issues to appropriate personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned
