About the Role:
As a Human Resources Apprentice, you will provide professional administrative and operational support across all HR functions, gaining exposure to the full employee lifecycle. Your duties will include:
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
- Assisting with payroll administration and contractual changes
- Contributing to reward and recognition initiatives
- Supporting employee relations activities
- Assisting with learning and development programmes
- Promoting employee wellbeing and engagement
- Ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion
This apprenticeship starts in September 2026 and lasts 2 years.
The role includes completing the Level 3 HR Apprenticeship qualification using the skills and knowledge that you will have built up to complete your projects and assignments. You will have the opportunity to be accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), which is the recognised entry point for HR professionals in the UK.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C (4+) or above, including English and Maths
- Genuine interest in Human Resources and commitment to completing the Level 3 HR Apprenticeship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and proactivity in handling changing priorities
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Commitment to handling confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Teamwork and collaboration
