HR Generalist
Job Description
Employee Services plays a vital role in the everyday success of organizations, and at SUNY Oneonta, that impact is felt across every corner of campus. SUNY Oneonta invites applications for an HR Generalist within the Employee Services Department.
In this role, you will serve as both a member of the campus Employee Services team and a point of contact for the SUNY Research Foundation (RF) and RF employees working at SUNY Oneonta.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing SUNY Research Foundation employee processes: Conducting orientations for new hires. Maintaining accurate employee records in ORACLE. Managing and monitoring compliance with the RF Affirmative Action Plan. Conducting thorough background checks. Serving as the RF IT security contact.
- Collaborating with Employee Services team members, SUNY RF, and the Office of Research, Grants and Contracts.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state policies.
- Providing guidance to employees regarding benefits.
- Gathering data and compiling reports.
- Developing and maintaining content for the Employee Services website and intranet.
- Participating actively in the Employee Services team.
- Supporting process improvement efforts.
- Occasionally supervising student employees.
Salary: $55,000.
