Human Resources Coordinator
The HR Coordinator is responsible for the transactional functions of the HR Department and serves as an interface between HR and external departments. Maintains a working knowledge of multiple HR functional areas, applicable policies, procedures and legal compliance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide coordination and support of employee orientation, professional development and training, implementation of policies and guidance on policies and procedures.
- Oversee on-boarding and record keeping of the university's contingent workers.
- Execute HR daily operations to include responses to employee questions and concerns.
- Co-manage Level II background screening procedures, events and record maintenance.
- Provide overall payroll support and process bi-weekly retirement contribution changes, data files and wire requests.
- Review Tuition Remission applications, in accordance with the Tuition Remission Policy. Coordinate workflow with Financial Aid.
- Assist the Wellness Committee in planning, scheduling and tracking classes, seminars and events.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- 2-5 years related experience preferred.
Salary Range: $40,000 - 45,000
