Human Resources Coordinator
Job Summary
- Coordinates, processes, verifies, and maintains academic and/or staff human resources (HR) related work, which may include but not limited to: recruitment, training, benefits, employee relations, tenure, performance evaluations, classifications, I-9s and employee leaves of absences
- Researches and analyzes academic and/or staff HR related topics to help assist in resolving issues and/or creating solutions
- Creates, compiles, prepares, and analyzes reports and documents for academic and/or staff HR related activities
- Performs and may coordinate data entry for processing transactions and maintaining and keeping information current for candidates, employees and/or retirees on a variety of academic and/or staff HR issues
- Provides administrative and related support to other academic and/or staff HR staff
- Supports and maintains academic and/or staff HR programs and events; maintains up-to-date records of actions, decisions, and time frames
- Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and documents
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
3 years of HR related experience plus advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite products
