Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Human Resources, with oversight from the Deputy Director of Campus Life, the Human Resources Manager serves as an integral part of the Human Resources team for Campus Life and the Student Affairs organization. The Human Resources Manager has primary administrative responsibility for human resource management for the department of Campus Life and will provide support to all assigned client departments. The Human Resources Manager, using strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, has responsibilities in the development, implementation, administration, analysis and evaluation of human resource programs, procedures, and standards in human resource management to ensure that there are consistent and equitable practices among the Campus Life departments. In addition, the Human Resources Manager oversees the administration of personnel and payroll functions for Campus Life (and other assigned departments) with approximately 400+ career, contract, limited, per diem, student, interns, volunteers and GSR appointments.
