Position: Human Sciences Adjunct Professor

Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs.
Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No
Starting Salary Range: AJCR $1,208-$1,344 per credit hour and in accordance with the adjunct table and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.
Position Summary:
JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time faculty position in the Biology Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in either Human Anatomy or Human Anatomy & Physiology. Both courses are combined lecture and lab. The position is for Fall 2026. The ideal candidate would teach face-to-face during the day. All applications must be submitted to the JCCC jobs portal.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology.
- Computer literacy including ability to communicate and develop teaching materials and enter grades electronically.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the use of appropriate computer software.
- Demonstrate fluency in written and oral communications.
- Successfully completed undergraduate or graduate level coursework in human anatomy and physiology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Anatomy or Physiology or closely related discipline.
