Context of Job
Under general supervision, performs skilled work at the journeyman level. Inspects, maintains, adjusts and makes repairs to the complete HVAC system. The principal emphasis is on the use of skills and knowledge of both preventive and applied maintenance techniques to overcome difficult technical problems. Independent judgment is required to start and stop a number of jobs following a non-routine schedule.
