The Centre for Indigenous Economic Transformation (CIET) is a nationally significant initiative, housed within the College of Law, Governance and Public Policy, that advances First Nations economic empowerment and self-determination. The Centre brings together research, education, policy, and partnerships to enable practical, systems‑level change—working with First Nations organisations, governments, industry and philanthropy to shape capital access, trade and investment, clean‑energy transition opportunities, and Indigenous‑led governance and capability.
The Position
As the Impact and Partnership Officer you will lead the Centre’s impact measurement and storytelling communications—plan and deliver partner engagement; produce case studies, profiles, speeches and web/social content; coordinate indicators, dashboards and the Annual Impact Report; manage the editorial calendar and partner-facing materials; support MoUs and events; and apply ICIP, Indigenous Data Sovereignty and FPIC-aligned consent in all outputs.
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, relationship-centred communicator with strong writing/editing and digital/multimedia skills, proven impact reporting capability, and the judgement to work across diverse partners; you bring cultural integrity and experience working respectfully with First Nations partners.
Classification: ANU Officer 6/7 (Administration) (Indigenous Identified Position)
Salary package: $98,387 - $113,252 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full time, Continuing (contingent funded)
This position is continuing (contingent funded). The funding that supports this project has an expected end date of September 2030.
