Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and continuously refine impact indicators and measurement approaches aligned to UNSW strategy
- Integrate qualitative and quantitative data from multiple internal and external sources to generate meaningful insights
- Apply strong analytical judgement to navigate ambiguity, data limitations and competing priorities
- Develop and test new frameworks, measures and methodologies within a large, complex organisation
- Identify and assess appropriate internal and third-party data sources to strengthen impact measurement
- Improve the quality, reliability and accessibility of impact data in collaboration with data owners
- Streamline data processes through standardisation and use of tools including AI
- Translate complex analysis into clear, concise insights tailored to non-technical senior stakeholders
- Develop fit-for-purpose reporting and visualisations to support executive and operational decision-making
- Design and implement data quality controls in collaboration with relevant teams to align with University policies and to support fair and unbiased representation

- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound analytical judgement in complex, ambiguous environments
- Experience developing new measures or methodologies, balancing rigour with practical constraints
- Proficiency with data tools and platforms (e.g. SQL/PySpark, Python, R, SPSS, Power BI, Qualtrics, NVivo, APIs)
