Embrace an opportunity to become part of something extraordinary.Information Management & Archive Services (IMAS) are responsible for the overall management and control of the University’s records. The team develops and implements programs to ensure the systematic collection, evaluation, organisation, storage, management and disposal of information.  

Working in close partnership with stakeholders across the University, IMAS focuses on ensuring compliance, reducing risk and increasing business efficiency through optimal information management practices.

About the Opportunity

The Information Management Officer contributes to the delivery of high-quality information and records management services across the University. Working as part of a collaborative team, the role supports operational information management activities, including record creation, appraisal, metadata quality, and advice to business areas.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate

Proven experience or strong capabilities in information and records management.

Accountability for task ownership and outcomes.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to undertake tasks which require extensive physical movement (e.g. packing, lifting and transfer of small archive boxes 5kg or less).
