Offer Description
Management of innovation projects
- Identifying and evaluating research results with innovative potential.
- Preparing technical reports on the patentability of innovative results and ideas submitted by the research staff at the i+12 institute
- Conducting technology watch and competitive intelligence activities.
- Preparing periodic technology watch and innovation bulletins for research staff.
- Preliminary analysis of the state of the art and competing technologies.
- Supporting researchers in the design and development of innovation projects.
- Developing commercialization plans and roadmaps for technology maturation.
- Technical and administrative monitoring of innovation projects.
- Support in preparing the technical justification for funded projects.
- Support with regulatory requirements for conducting clinical research, such as obtaining authorizations from the relevant authorities on a case-by-case basis.
Fundraising
- Identification of calls for proposals for funding programs or other opportunities for the development of R&D&I projects.
- Support throughout all phases of preparing and submitting new R&D&I project proposals, monitoring ongoing projects, and providing support for their justification.
- Search for collaborators to develop competitive or non-competitive R&D&I projects and formalize partnerships.
- Participation in innovation consortia.
Commercialization and Technology Transfer
- Support in identifying and managing assets eligible for protection (utility models, patents, trademarks, industrial designs, trade secrets, know-how).
- Creation and maintenance of the Institute’s portfolio of transferable technologies and research results.
- Identification of potential applications and market opportunities for research results.
- Participation in activities to promote the transfer of the Institute’s technology and scientific talent.
- Support in the preliminary evaluation of opportunities for exploitation and commercialization.
- Identification of technology transfer opportunities.
- Supporting the creation of business ventures and spin-offs.
Promotion of innovation
- Dissemination and promotion of R&D&I capabilities and results through presentations, conferences, participation in business fairs, meetings, and other events.
- Organization of conferences or events to present R&D&I results,
- Preparation of informational materials
- Participation in innovation platforms (ITEMAS and similar initiatives).
- Participation in technology transfer conferences, business meetings, industry trade shows, and investment forums.
- Preparation and dissemination of newsletters and content related to healthcare innovation and technology transfer.
- Development of activities to foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements
Research Field: Biological sciences
Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
Academic degree: Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Health Sciences, or other related fields
Specific training: Master’s in Health Sciences / Master’s in Innovation /
Specific Requirements
Previous experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in managing innovation and/or research projects.
- Experience in preparing and managing regionally, nationally, and European-funded projects.
- Experience in commercializing research results.
- Ability to identify and evaluate innovations from a technical perspective.
- Knowledge of the biomedicine innovation ecosystem.
- Experience in the technical monitoring of healthcare innovation projects.
- Experience in developing technology portfolios and supporting technology transfer processes.
- Experience in business development and market research.
Courses and/or specific training:
- Industrial and intellectual property.
- Healthcare innovation.
- Technology transfer.
- Regulation of medical devices (MDR).
- Biomedical entrepreneurship.
- Project management.
Other relevant qualifications:
- Previous experience in research transfer offices or in scientific/research management departments.
- Experience in preparing technology reports.
- Organizing science outreach activities.
- Knowledge of computer tools: advanced user level (Excel, Office)
- Master’s degree in Innovation, Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, or equivalent.
Languages: High level of English
